"We" here at COLLECTION RERT (a semi-mythical arts organization, born and based in Austin, TX) are big puppet show enthusiasts.

It's because a puppet show can be anything and anything can be a puppet!

This fall we're all fired up about our new theater-to-be, and the great variety of surprises and delights that will abound at the Inaugural Community Puppet show, on Saturday, October 17th. (insert fireworks here!)

**ATTENTION : Carpenters/ Builders and people with TRUCKS -- we especially need your help A.S.A.P.!!!**

Here are some opportunities for YOU to get in on the fun:

1. To ACT IN or otherwise assist in creating our first community puppet show, show up to the OPEN CALL / DRESS REHEARSAL on Sat 10/10, 4pm sharp! -- RAIN OR SHINE! --
   This rehearsal is for two purposes: one, to assemble everyone who is going to be in the show for the purposes of making a program to pass out at the show. Secondly, it is really important for performers, even if they are going to do an improvised act, to get a sense of the stage and its practical issues! Hopefully, collaborations can form and come together here! People who just want to volunteer to help someone else with a show are encouraged to come!
2. SUNDAY 10/11 (all day), FRIDAY 10/16 (all day), + some evenings in between (T.B.A.) : Helpers needed for various tasks!! For example: setting posts in ground with concrete, shoveling & moving mulch, building benches, making decorations, and sewing curtains! 3. SATURDAY 10/17, the day of the show: We are having a potluck before the show at 6:30, so bringing an edible thing to share would be one much appreciated way to get involved :)

VOLUNTEERS who are part of the Austin Time Exchange Network will be credited for the hours they worked. All others gain membership status in Collection Rert, which means that you are super cool and have our undying love.
